Chapter 3 we spoke about Fasting & charity for atonement & to cleanse your soul. Chapter 4 the Alter Rebbe underscores that “Teshuva” is about returning to G-D in Truth & with a Whole Heart. Intro. The Zohar States Teshuva is Tashuv H low level & high level of Teshuva. The Zohar also says that Teshuva does not help for one that was not careful with the holiness of his circumcision & wasting his seed. Teshuva always helps!? Low level of Teshuva does not help you need high level of Teshuva. We find that even though Kares & Misah in the hands heaven is 50 or 60 years old & sometimes people died on the spot how come many that deserved death did not die? Who are we? The verse says: 1) כי חלק ה׳ עמו we come from the infinite name ה’ 2) ויפח באפיו נשמת חיים Hashem blow from his inner self into us (Angels come from the name Elokim & external part of G-D) We are connected to the Infinite name of & from the depths of G-D in order for this powerful soul to come into this world Hashem used a Dibbur of נעשה אדם בצלמינו that allowed the fusion of the high with the low energy. How are we like the infinite name of ה? Hashem has ten Sefirot. - We have ten Kochot. Hashem re ten Sefirot: As the Zohar says אנת הוא דאפיקת עשר תקונין וקרינן להון עשר ספירן לאנהגא בהון עלמין all the ten Sefirot come from the name י-ה-ו-ה Top of yud is Ratzon Yud - Chochma -Dot H - Binah Expansive & revelation in the concealed world of intellect. Vav- draw down to the revealed worlds & the 6 Sefirot H - Dibur Malchus We have ten Kochot: Also from the Neshama which is connected to the infinite name ה Yud - Chochma H - Depth & the concealed part of the heart. Vav. - the revealed part of the heart. That is the emotions of Love & Awe H. In reality Studying torah & doing Mitzvot with your voice & action.
