<p>In parashas Mikeitz, Judah responds to his father's concern for<br>Benjamin's safety by saying: "Send the lad with me, and we will arise<br>and go, that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our<br>little ones." Many commentators explain this to mean that Judah was<br>conceding the danger that the trip posed to Benjamin but arguing that<br>the danger to the whole family of not going was greater.
