King Saul’s failure against Amalek teaches that even "holy logic" cannot replace total devotion to G-d. Intellect is limited, but a foundation of Kabbalas Ol (accepting G-d's yoke) ensures our survival. Like Moshe Rabbeinu, we must lead with a faith that transcends human reason.
