גְלִיפָא תְרִיצָא לְדָוִד נְטַר יָתִי אֱלָהָא מְטוּל דְסַבְרֵית בְּמֵימְרָךְ:
An honest inscription of David. Protect me, O God, because I have hoped⁶³ in your word.

מַלֵילְתְּ אַנְתְּ נַפְשִׁי קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהִי אַנְתְּ בְּרַם טִיבָתִי לָא מִתְיְהִיבָא בַּר מִנָךְ:
You have spoken – you, my soul – in the presence of the LORD. You are my God, truly my goodness is not present without you.
לְקַדִישַׁיָא דִי בְאַרְעָא הִנוּן הוֹדַעוּ כֹּחַ גְבוּרְתִּי מִן שְׁרוּיָא וְגֵוְתָנִין בְּעוֹבָדֵיהוֹן טָבַיָא כָּל רְעוּתִי טָב בְּהוּ:
To the holy ones that are in the in the land they have declared the might of my power from the beginning; and as for those proud of their good deeds, my good will is for them.
מַסְגָן צַלְמָנֵיהוֹן מִן בָּתַר כֵּן מוֹחָן לְקָרָבָא קוּרְבָּנֵיהוֹן לָא אֲקַבֵּל בְּרַעֲוָא נְסוּכֵהוֹן וְדַם קוּרְבָּנֵיהוֹן וְלָא אֶדְכַּר שׁוּמְהוֹן עַל סִפְוָתִי:
But the wicked multiply their idols; afterwards they hurry to make their sacrifices. I will not receive favorably their libations or the blood of their sacrifices, nor will I mention their name with my lips.
יְיָ מוֹהָבִית כַּלִידִי וְחוּלָקִי אַנְתְּ תְּסוֹבֵר עַדְבִי:
The LORD is the portion of my cup and my share; you will support⁶⁴ my lot.

עַדְבִין נְפַלוּ לִי בִּבְסִימָתָא אוּף אַחֲסַנְתָּא שַׁפִּירָא עֲלָי:
The lots have fallen pleasantly for me; indeed, a beautiful inheritance is mine.
אֲבָרֵךְ יַת יְיָ דְמַלְכִּינָנִי אוּף בְּלֵילְיָא דְדָאָן לִי כוּלְיָתָי:
I will bless the LORD, who has counseled me; even at night my mind⁶⁵ disciplines me.

שִׁוִיתִי יְיָ לְקוּבְּלִי תְּדִירָא מְטוּל דִשְׁכִנְתֵּיהּ שַׁרְיָא עֲלַי לָא אַזוּעַ:
I have placed the LORD⁶⁶ before me always, for h*is presence rests on me;*⁶⁷ I shall not be shaken.

בְּגִין חֲדָא לִבִּי וְרַנֵן אַיְקָרִי אוֹף בִּשְׂרֵי יִשְׁרֵי לְרוֹחֲצָן:
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; besides, my flesh shall dwell in security.
מְטוּל דְלָא תִשְׁבּוֹק נַפְשִׁי לִשְׁיוֹל לָא תִמְסוֹר זַכָּאָךְ לְמֶחֱמֵי בְּשִׁחֲיוּתָא:
For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, you will not hand over your innocent one to see corruption.⁶⁸

תְּהוֹדַע לִי אוֹרְחָא דְחַיֵי סוֹבְעָא דְחֶדְוָתָא קֳדָם אַפָּךְ בְּסִימָתָא בִּימִינָךְ לְעַלְמִין:
You will tell me the way of life; abundance of joy is in the presence of your face; pleasant things are at your right hand forever.
