G‑d looked in the Torah and created the world. (Zohar I:134a²) Thought is like a book. Just as you read what is in a book, so you say what is in your thoughts. It seems to me that I heard this is an explanation of the Zohar’s statement. For the Torah emanates from the Supernal Wisdom. Meaning to say, G‑d wanted to create what He saw in His thoughts.
