Regarding the knots that people make at the end of their tzitzis,¹² Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz said in the name of the Baal Shem Tov that one should not tie them on the same day as he ties his tzitzis; rather, he should wait until the next day. This takes into account the opinion of the Magen Avraham,¹³, Orach Chayim11:23. so that it does not look like you are adding extra knots. Midrash Pinchas, p. 30a
