ידביק עצמו בבורא יתברך, ויבקש דבר מצרכי בית, או שיעשה דבר, או ידבר, באותו הדבקות, אף על פי שאינו צריך לעשות ולדבר, כדי להרגיל עצמו, אפילו כשיעשה וידבר דברים גשמיים, שתהיה מחשבתו דבוקה בו יתברך שמו, ושיהיה רגיל בדבקות באותה שעה, וזה כלל גדול: (צוואת הריב"ש ד"ט ע"א).
