ואם על מי וכו' דוקדשתו. שז"ל הרמב"ם בפרק ד' מהלכות כלי המקדש הלכה א' ומצות עשה להבדיל הכהנים ולקדשם וכו' וחייב כל אדם מישראל לנהוג בהן כבוד הרבה ולהקדים אותם לכל דבר שבקדושה לפתוח בתורה ראשון וכו', וכיוצא בזה כתב הרמב"ם בספר המצות שלו מצוה ל"ב עי"ש וכן נפסק בחשן משפט בסימן ת"כ דהמבייש לכהן בושתו מרובה משל ישראל.

ומ"ש בפנים דעובר היינו בגווני הנ"ל דגבי זקן, ואפשר דבזה גם כן אף המקבל ושלא בפניו עובר כיון דחזינן דהקפידה תורה על כבודו של הכהן, אפשר דבזה שמטה אזנו ושומע את בזיונו או מחרפו שלא בפניו עובר גם כן על מצות עשה זו.
