איתא (אבות פ"ו מ"א) מגלין לו רזי תורה. פירוש כי באותיות גנוז האור, וכשרוצה להתקשר בהקב"ה אז מגלין לו את האור שבאותיות, וזהו לשון מגלין, כי האור מכוסה באותיות:
