וַיָּ֩שֶׂם֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ (אחשרש) [אֲחַשְׁוֵר֧וֹשׁ]׀מַ֛ס עַל־הָאָ֖רֶץ וְאִיֵּ֥י הַיָּֽם׃
King Achashverosh levied a tax on the land dwellers and the ocean islanders.
And the king Aĥashverosh laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.

וְכׇל־מַעֲשֵׂ֤ה תׇקְפּוֹ֙ וּגְב֣וּרָת֔וֹ וּפָרָשַׁת֙ גְּדֻלַּ֣ת מׇרְדֳּכַ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר גִּדְּל֖וֹ הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ הֲלוֹא־הֵ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֗ים עַל־סֵ֙פֶר֙ דִּבְרֵ֣י הַיָּמִ֔ים לְמַלְכֵ֖י מָדַ֥י וּפָרָֽס׃
All of his mighty, powerful deeds, and the record of Mordechai’s eminence as granted him by the king; all of these are inscribed in the book of archives of the royalty of Media and Persia.
And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordokhay, to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Maday and Paras?
And the entire account of his authority and his strength, and the setting forth of the greatness of Mordecai, who was exalted by the king, are they not written in the book of chronicles of the kings of Madai and Paras.
And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of 👳🏽♂️, to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Maday and Paras?
כִּ֣י**׀** מׇרְדֳּכַ֣י הַיְּהוּדִ֗י מִשְׁנֶה֙ לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֔וֹשׁ וְגָדוֹל֙ לַיְּהוּדִ֔ים וְרָצ֖וּי לְרֹ֣ב אֶחָ֑יו דֹּרֵ֥שׁ טוֹב֙ לְעַמּ֔וֹ וְדֹבֵ֥ר שָׁל֖וֹם לְכׇל־זַרְעֽוֹ׃
For Mordechai the Yehudi was second to King Achasverosh, great among the Yehudim, esteemed by most of his brethren; he sought the welfare of his people, and was the spokesman for the peace of his descendants.
For Mordokhay the Jew was next to king Aĥashverosh, and great among the Jews, and accepted by the multitude of his brethren, seeking the good of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
For Mordecai the Jew was vice-regent to King Achashverosh, and great among the Jews, and in the good graces of most of his brethren, [(but not all of them, some of the Sanhedrin having separated themselves from him because of his having become close to the king and defaulting in his learning)], seeking the good of all his people and speaking peace to all its seed.
For 👳🏽♂️ the ✡️ was next to king 🤴🏽, and great among the ✡️, and accepted by the multitude of his brethren, seeking the 👍 of his people, and speaking 🕊️ to all his seed.
