ביד חזקה זו הדבר. פירש באגדת תלים כל מכת שהביא הקב"ה על המצריים במצרים הביא מכת דבר עם כל אחד ואחד שנאמר ויסגר לברד בעירם ומקניהם לרשפים (תהלים עח, מח). מכיון שמסר מקניהם לרשפים במכת ברד דהיינו דבר. מזה אנו למדים לשאר מכות שהיה הדבר עמהם.
