יְשִׂימְךָאֱלֹהִים
May God make you
כְּאֶפְרַיִם וְכִמְנַשֶּׁה,
like Ephraim and Menashe.
יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהֹוָה וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ:
May Adonoy bless you and guard you.
יָאֵר יְהֹוָה
May Adonoy shine
פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ
His countenance upon you,
וִיחֻנֶּךָּ:
and be gracious unto you.
יִשָּׂא יְהֹוָה
May Adonoy turn
פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ
His countenance toward you
וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם:
and grant you peace.
יְשִׂימֵךְאֱלֹהִים
May God make you
כְּשָׂרָה רִבְקָה רָחֵל וְלֵאָה.
like Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel and Leah.

אַהֲבָתוֹ וְיִרְאָתוֹ
love and fear of Him.
וְתִהְיֶה יִרְאַת יְהֹוָה
May the fear of Adonoy
עַל פָּנֶיךָ
be upon your face
כָּל יָמֶיךָ
all the days of your life,
שֶׁלֹּא תֶחֱטָא,
so that you will not sin.
וּתְהִי חֶשְׁקְךָ בַּתּוֹרָה וּבְמִצְוֹת
May your desire be for Torah and Mitzvos,
עֵינֶיךָ לְנֹכַח יַבִּיטוּ
may your eyes look straightforward,
פִּיךָ יְדַבֵּר חָכְמוֹת
may your mouth speak [with] wisdom,
וְלִבְּךָ יֶהְגֶּה אֵימוֹת:
may your heart meditate [with] reverence,
יָדֶיךָ יַעַסְקוּ בְּמִצְוֹת.
may your hands be engaged in mitzvos,
רַגְלֶיךָ יָרוּצוּ לַעֲשׂוֹת רְצוֹן
and may your feet hasten to do the will
אָבִיךָ שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם.
of our Father in heaven.
יִתֵּן לְךָ בָּנִים וּבָנוֹת
May the Almighty grant you children
צַדִּיקִים וְצִדְקָנִיּוֹת
who will [grow up to] be righteous,
עוֹסְקִים
occupying themselves
בַּתּוֹרָה וּבְמִצְוֹת
with Torah and mitzvos
כָּל יְמֵיהֶם,
all their days.
וִיהִי מְקוֹרְךָ בָּרוּךְ.
May your source be blessed,
וְיַזְמִין לְךָ פַּרְנָסָתְךָ
and may He grant that your livelihood
בְּהֶתֵּר בְּנַחַת וּבְרֶוַח
come with honesty, ease and abundance,
מִתַּחַת יָדוֹ הָרְחָבָה
from His generous hand,
וְלֹא עַל יְדֵי מַתְּנַת בָּשָׂר וָדָם
and not from the gifts of men;
פַּרְנָסָה שֶׁתִּהְיֶה פָּנוּי
a livelihood that will free you
לַעֲבוֹדַת יְהֹוָה
to serve God.
וְתִכָּתֵב וְתֵחָתֵם
May you be inscribed and sealed
לְחַיִּים טוֹבִים וַאֲרֻכִים
for good, long life
בְּתוֹךְ כָּל צַדִּיקֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל
together with all the righteous of Yisrael.
