There are verbs which teach that the subject is prepared to do or that the action is prepared to be done:

והקטיר (And the priest shall bring it to the altar, and pinch off its head, and make it smoke on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be drained out on the side of the altar)²⁴ - that it will be proper to make it smoke.

והשורף (And he that burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he may come into the camp)²⁵ - that it is prepared to burn.

יאכלנה (Every male among the children of Aaron may eat of it, as a due for ever throughout your generations, from the offerings of the LORD made by fire; whatsoever touches them shall be holy)²⁶ - proper for eating.

כהן המקריב (And every meal-offering that is baked in the oven, and all that is dressed in the stewing-pan, and on the griddle, shall be the priest's that offers it)²⁷ – that he is prepared for this.

וקצרתם (Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you are come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest)²⁸ – when you will want to reap.
