ובזה דרך הלשון ששם הסוג יבוא באחרונה והפעל (או השם שבא במקום הפעל) יקדים – קרבנו לעולה. קרבנו לזבח שלמים. ומה שכתב "ואם מן העוף עולה" יצא מן הכלל ויש בו דרוש (ויקרא סימן ע)

Ayelet Hashachar, translated by Betzalel Avraham Feinstein, 2021

And nevertheless, the custom of the language is that the name of a category comes at the end and the verb (or the noun that comes in place of the verb) precedes it - קרבנו לעולה (his offering for a burnt-offering), קרבנו לזבח שלמים (his offering for a sacrifice of peace-offerings). And when it is written ואם מן העוף עולה (And if his offering to the LORD be a burnt-offering of fowls)⁴⁵⁰, it deviates from this rule and there is a homiletical interpretation.

Leviticus 1:14 says,ואם מן העוף עלה קרבנו ליהוה והקריב מן התרים או מן בני היונה את קרבנו(And if his offering to the LORD be a burnt-offering of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons), using the language ואם מן העוף עלה קרבנו ליהוה for “And if his offering to the LORD be a burnt-offering of fowls”. This verse is not in accordance with Rule 193, as it should have said ואם מן העוף קרבנו לעולה. This is to teach that it is only talking about fowls that are offered as burnt offerings⁴⁵¹.
