פעל 'שגה' (מנחי ל"ה) בא אחריו שימוש הב' או שימוש המ"ם.
The verb שגה (err) that comes before the prefix ב or מ:
והוא, שאם יציין הפעול שעשו אותו על ידי שגיאה – בא שימוש הב'. כמו "למה תשגה בני בזרה".
If the action indicates that he did it by שגיאה (mistake) – the letter ב will come after it, likeלמה תשגה בני בזרה (Why then wilt you, my son, be ravished with a strange woman)⁶⁴⁴.

ואם יציין הפעול שלא עשו אותו על ידו שגיאה – בא שימוש המ"ם, כמו (תהילים קיט, קיח) "סלית כל שוגים מחוקיך". (ויקרא סימן רמד)
And if the action indicates that he did not do it by שגיאה – the letter מ will come after it, like סלית כל שוגים מחוקיך (You have made light of all them that err from Your statutes)⁶⁴⁵.
