We only find in the book of Torah the verb העלאה (raise) used to describe a burnt offering when it is done on a private altar or a new altar. But when it is done on an altar in the Holy Temple, it will use the language עשיה or הקרבה or הקטרה.

And when it is written והעלה את העולה (And the priest shall offer the burnt-offering and the meal-offering upon the altar)⁶⁵², there is a homiletical interpretation.

And there is a difference between נדר (vow) and נדבה (donation), in that with a נדר, one says, “behold, it is upon me”, while with a נדבה one says, “behold, here it is”. And also a נדבה describes a sacrifice that comes through the giving of the heart. And both are used whether for sacrifices on the altar or for items consecrated for Temple maintenance.

Leviticus 14:20 says, והעלה את העולה (And the priest shall offer the burnt-offering and the meal-offering upon the altar), using the verb העלאה (raise) to describe a burnt offering done in the Holy Temple, which is against Rule 376. The homiletical interpretation for this is that this teaches that the sacrifice will still be valid even if it is not slaughtered for the sake of Heaven⁶⁵³.
