אחר פעל הזה בא תמיד שימוש המ"ם – "והזה מן". לבד בפר' אחרי כתוב "והזה אותו על הכפורת" שמציין בזה שלא יזה למעלה רק הזיה אחת. כי ההזיה החלקיית טיפים טיפים מציין במ"ם והזיה יחידית מצוין במלת "את". (אחרי ס' מא). ועיין דקדוק פעל יזה. (צו ס' סא)
After the verb הזה (sprinkle) always comes the prefix מ - והזה מן (sprinkle from), except when it is written והזה אותו על הכפורת (and sprinkle it upon the ark-cover)⁶⁵⁴, that indicates that he will only sprinkle above once: The מ indicates that the sprinkling gets divided drop by drop, while the wordאת indicates that the sprinkling is all at once.
