With respect to meal-offerings of fine flour, meal-offerings of a sinner, and Sotah (a woman accused of adultery), it writes וקמץ (grasp)⁶⁶³, because he grasps a handful, and it is written about them מלוא קומצו (his handful)⁶⁶⁴. But with respect to a meal-offering of a stewing-pan and in Leviticus 6:8, it is written והרים בקומצו (And he shall take up therefrom his handful), since a baked meal-offering did not involve a handful but was only taken up with three of his fingers.
