יש הבדל בין פעל 'קרא' שאחריו למ"ד השימוש – שאז הקרוא רחוק מן הקורא, ובין פעל 'קרא' שאחריו מלת "אל" – שהקרוא לפני הקורא ומזמינהו אל הדיבור (ויקרא סי' א. שמיני סי' ב).

There is a difference between the verb קרא (call) that precedes the letter ל – then the one who is called is far away from the caller – and the verb קרא that precedes the word אל – then the one who is called is before the caller and the caller invites him to hear speech.
