פעל 'כסה' כשבא בדיוק הוא משתתף עם שמות [בגד שלמה] וכדומה. ובשלוח יכלול כל דבר העוטף על דבר אחר. (ויקרא ס' קסח).
The verb כסה (cover) in its precise meaning is connected with the nouns בגד שלמה (outfit), etc. And in its broad meaning, it includes anything that wraps around another thing.
ויש הבדל בין "ויכס שק" ובין "מתכסים בשקים", ש'כסה' שאחריו ב' מורה שמתכסה סביב סביב. (אחרי סימן קכ)
And there is a difference between ויכס שק (and covered him with sackcloth)⁶⁹⁵ and מתכסים בשקים (covered with sackcloth)⁶⁹⁶ in that whenever כסה has the prefix ב after it, it means that he covered himself around and around.
