And it is the way of the Scripture to say מות יומת (he shall surely be put to death) before it specifies the type of death penalty, like מות יומת..עם הארץ ירגמוהו (he shall surely be put to death…the people of the land shall stone him)⁷³³. And with respect to a daughter of a priest who commits harlotry, it simply says באש תשרף (she shall be burnt with fire)⁷³⁴, because it is not necessary to say she is liable to the death penalty, as a female Israelite would also be liable to the death penalty; it only needs to explain the manner in which she should die.
