חברו הרב הגדול החכם הכולל בחכמת הפילוסופיא ובשבע חכמות כמהור״ר דוד ניטו זצ״ל אב״ד ור״מ דק״ק לונדריש יוכיח ויורה בטענות שכליות ובראיות חזקות ובמופתים גדולים להכריח אמיתות תורה שבעל פה המקובלת מרז״ל חכמי המשנה והש״ס ע״ר הכוזרי הראשון, לפי שהרב ר׳ יהודה הלוי זצ״ל כל מגמתו בספר הכוזרי שלו הוא להוכיח אמיתות תורה שבכתב בפרט ועל תורה שבע״פ לא דיבר אלא דרך כלל. ובכן מניה ומני תתברר אמיתות שתיהן ויסתתמו טענות מכחישיהן, ועמד כנגד הפוקרים כגבור חיל היוצא למלחמה.
the great wise rabbi, educated in philosophy and in the seven wisdoms, rabbi dovid nito zt"l, the head of the bes din, argues and instructs through intelligent claims and strong proofs and with great wonders to prove the truth of the oral Torah that was received from our rabbis z"l, the sages of the mishna and shas ע"ר the first kuzari, because the whole point of rabbi yehuda halevi zt"l in his book the kuzari was specifically to prove the truth of the written torah, and he only spoke about the oral torah in general terms. and therefore through him and through me both the turths will become clear, and the opposing arguments will be stopped, and so it stands against the heretics like a valiant warrior going out to battle.

א) הגאון רשכב״ה חכם צבי בתשובותיו סימן י״ח העיד עליו כי כל רז לא אניס לי׳ וקידש השם ברוח תבונתו:
ב) הגאון המובהק ח״ק מו״ה חיים יוסף דוד אזולאי זצ״ל, בספרו שם הגדולים ח״ב מערכת מ״ם אות צ״ה ע״ש מה שהאריך להפליג בשבח הספר הנחמד הזה:
ג) הגאון האמתי המפורסם מו״ר אריה ליב אב״ד דק״ק מיץ בעהמ״ח ספר שאגת אריה לא זז מחבבו עד שהוקם על מזבח הדפוס מחדש בעירו במיץ כמבואר הכל בספר שה״ג הנ״ל:
