ואם יוכל עם כל נשימותיואם יוכל יחשוב בכל נשימה ונשימה:
המורא והפחדבפסוק תפול עליהם אימתה ופחד פירש"י אימתה על הרחוקים ופחד על הקרובים ג"כ ציור רוממותו ית' לפי רחוקה מהשגתנו תטיל המורא וציור מלא כל הארץ כבודו וקירוב השגחתו עלינו תטיל הפחד:
Awe refers to something far away, while fear refers to something closeby. So too picturing G-d's loftiness, according to how distant it is from our ability to understand Him brings "awe". While picturing the verse "the entire world is full of His glory", and the nearness of His providence on us brings "fear".
**ואל ירבה בעיניך כו'**ראוי לך לדעת שבאמת המעט ממך הוא ית' מחשיבו להרבה אולם אצלך יהיה להיפך שגם המעשה הרב לא יהיה גדול בעיניך אף אם הוא נעשה לשמו ית' בלי שום סיג ופניה:
You should know that in truth, a small act from you, He considers it as alot. But from your perspective it should be the opposite - that even a big deed should not be big in your eyes, even if it is done for His Name, without any blemish or outside interest.
**כפל מעשה כו'**לפי שכל המעשים אינם מוסיפים לו ית' שום תועלת:
Since all of the good deeds do not add any benefit whatsoever to Him.
ורוב חסדיו עמךבבחינה שנעשה בחסד בלי שום גמול:
