The Koren Jerusalem Bible

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scorners.

The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein

The praises of a man (are) that he did not walk in the counsel of the wicked, and [(in consequence)] did not stand in the path of sinners, and [(in consequence)] did not sit in the seat of scoffers.

The Koren Jerusalem Bible

But his delight is in the Tora of the Lord; and in his Tora he meditates day and night.

The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein

But in the Torah of the L rd is his desire [(whence it is seen that sitting with scoffers leads to neglect of Torah study)], and in his Torah he meditates day and night.

The Koren Jerusalem Bible

And he shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not wither; and in whatever he does he shall prosper.

The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein

And he shall be as a tree planted by the water courses, which gives its fruit in its time, and whose leaves do not wither [(Even his "externals" are of significance — The casual converse of Torah scholars is meaningful and requires study)], and all that he does prospers.

The Koren Jerusalem Bible

Not so the wicked: but they are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein

Not so, the wicked. But [they are] like the chaff scattered by the wind.

The Koren Jerusalem Bible

Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein

Therefore, [("For the L rd knows, etc.", verse 6)] the wicked will not stand up [i.e., prevail] in judgment [(on the Day of Judgment)], nor will sinners [be written down] in the congregation of the righteous:

כִּֽי־יוֹדֵ֣עַ יְ֭הֹוָה דֶּ֣רֶךְ צַדִּיקִ֑ים וְדֶ֖רֶךְ רְשָׁעִ֣ים תֹּאבֵֽד׃{פ}

The Koren Jerusalem Bible

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the wicked shall perish.

The Rashi Ketuvim by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein

For the L rd knows the way of the righteous [(and keeps it constantly before His eyes)], and the [(hateful)] way of the wicked will go lost.
