Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Thy name give glory, for Thy steadfast love, and for Thy truth.
Not unto us, O L rd [i.e., not for our sakes or for out merits do we ask that You act]; not unto us, but to Your name give honor, for Your lovingkindness, for Your truth.
Why should the nations say, Where is now their God?
[For] why should the nations say: "Where, now, is their G d?"
But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatever he has pleased.
But our G d is in the heavens; all that He desires, He does.
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
Their images are silver and gold, the work of the hands of man.
They have mouths, but they cannot speak: eyes have they, but they cannot see:
They have a mouth, but do not speak. They have eyes, but do not see.
they have ears, but they cannot hear: noses have they, but they cannot smell:
They have ears, but do not hear. They have a nose, but do not smell.
they have hands, but they cannot feel: feet have they, but they cannot walk: nor can they speak through their throat.
Their hands [are fashioned], but they do not feel; their feet, but they do not walk. They make no sound with their throats.
They who make them are like them; so is everyone who trusts in them.
Like them let their makers be, [and] all who trust in them.
O Yisra᾽el, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
[But] Israel trusts in the L rd; He is their help and their shield.
O house of Aharon, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
The house of Aaron trusts in the L rd; He is their help and their shield.
You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.
The fearers of the L rd [i.e., proselytes] trust in the L rd; He is their help and their shield.
The Lord has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Yisra᾽el; he will bless the house of Aharon.
The L rd, who remembers us, shall bless. He shall bless the house of Israel. He shall bless the house of Aaron.
He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great.
He shall bless the fearers of the L rd, the small and the great.
May the Lord increase you more and more, you and your children.
He shall add [blessing] upon you; upon you and upon your sons.
May you be blessed of the Lord who made heaven and earth.
You shall be blessed [repeatedly] by the L rd, Maker of heaven and earth.
The heavens are the heavens of the Lord: but he has given the earth to the children of men.
The heavens are the heavens of the L rd, and He has given the earth to the children of man.
The dead cannot praise the Lord, nor can any who go down into silence.
Those consigned to [eternal death shall not praise You; nor those descending to [eternal] silence.
וַאֲנַ֤חְנוּ**׀** נְבָ֘רֵ֤ךְ יָ֗הּ מֵעַתָּ֥ה וְעַד־עוֹלָ֗ם הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃{פ}
But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Haleluya!
But we shall bless the L rd, from now and evermore, Hallelukah!
