מִי כַּה׳ אֱלֹהֵינוּ. בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ, שֶׁהוּא מַגְבִּיהִי לָשָׁבֶת וּמַשְׁפִּיל לִרְאוֹת. מַגְבִּיהִי, מַשְׁפִּילִי, מְקִימִי, לְהוֹשִׁיבִי, מוֹשִׁיבִי – כֻּלָּם יוֹ״ד יְתֵרָה בָּהֶם:
Who is like the Lord, our God in heaven and earth, who dwells on high and lowers His eyes to see? מושיבי, להושיבי, מקימי, משפילי, מגביהי, all have a superfluous “yud.”
עֲקֶרֶת הַבַּיִת. צִיּוֹן, שֶׁהִיא כַּעֲקָרָה, יוֹשִׁיבֶנָּה:
the barren woman of the house Zion, which is like a barren woman—He will seat her.
אֵם הַבָּנִים שְׂמֵחָה. ״כִּי חָלָה גַּם יָלְדָה צִיּוֹן אֶת בָּנֶיהָ״ (ישעיהו סו:ח):
as a happy mother of children (Isa. 66:8): “that Zion both experienced birth pangs and bore her children.”
