When a man’s wife dies, it is like losing one of his bones. But this is not so for the Tzaddik when his wife dies, as hinted by the word ALMan (widower), whose letters stand for “Achat Mehaynah Lo Nishbarah (not one of them [the bones] was broken)” (Psalms 34:21).
