סדר היום ערבית ושחרית ומנחה אומר שלש ראשונו' ושלש אחרונו' וקדושת היום באמצע אתה בחרתנו וכו' ותתן לנו יי אלהינו את יום חג המצות הזה את יום טוב מקרא קודש הזה (ע"ל סי' ת"צ סעיף ג') זמן חירותינו יעלה ויבא והשיאנו וחותם מקדש ישראל והזמני' ואם אמר מקדש השבת וחזר בו תוך כדי דיבור יצא אחרי שהוא יודע שהוא יום טוב ואם חל בשבת אומר את יום המנוח הזה ואת יום חג המצו' הזה וחותם מקדש השבת וישראל והזמנים ואין אומרים ברכת מעין שבע:

The Prayer Leader Does Not Recite Kiddush in the Synagogue:

If one forgot to say Ata Bechartanu (the special holiday blessing) and instead said Ya'aleh V'Yavo (the insertion for festivals), he has fulfilled his obligation. Gloss: Even if it was Shabbat, if he mentioned Ya'aleh V'Yavo, he has fulfilled his obligation (Beit Yosef in the name of Orchot Chaim). However, if he said Ata Bechartanu and included Shabbat within it, he still needs to go back and mention the festival specifically in Ya'aleh V'Yavo (Responsa of Mahari”l). Nonetheless, if he did not mention the festival in Ya'aleh V'Yavo, he does not need to repeat the prayer (Beit Yosef). On the first night of Pesach, we complete Hallel in the congregation in a pleasant manner and with a beracha at the beginning and end. The same applies on the second night of [those in the Diaspora who observe] the second day of Yom Tov for the Diaspora.
