רָאוּי לָאָדָם, שֶׁיַּעֲבֹר וְיֵלֵךְ בְּזֶה הָעוֹלָם בְּכָל הַסְּפָרִים הַקְּדוֹשִׁים, וְלִלְמֹד כֻּלָּם, כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּהְיֶה בְּכָל מָקוֹם.
Attempt to go through all our sacred books in the course of your lifetime. You will have then visited every place in the Torah.
כְּמוֹ שֶׁנִּמְצָא הַשָּׂרִים הַגְּדוֹלִים, שֶׁהוֹלְכִים וְעוֹבְרִים בַּמְדִינוֹת וּמוֹצִיאִים הוֹצָאוֹת רַבּוֹת עַל זֶה כְּדֵי שֶׁיּוּכַל אַחַר כֵּן לְהִתְפָּאֵר וְלוֹמַר שֶׁהָיָה בַּמְּדִינוֹת, כְּמוֹ שֶׁדֶּרֶךְ הַשָּׂרִים לְהִתְפָּאֵר וְלוֹמַר: 'הָיִיתִי בְּוַרְשָׁא' וְכַיּוֹצֵא בָּזֶה.
The very rich travel constantly from land to land. They spend huge amounts just so they will be able to boast that they have been to some faraway place. They consider it a sign of high status if, for example, they can boast that they have been to Warsaw.
כְּמוֹ כֵן רָאוּי שֶׁיִּהְיֶה הָאָדָם בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה בְּכָל מְקוֹמוֹת הַקְּדוֹשִׁים שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה, כְּדֵי שֶׁיּוּכַל לְהִתְפָּאֵר בָּעוֹלָם הַבָּא שֶׁהָיָה בְּכָל מָקוֹם, דְּהַיְנוּ בְּכָל הַסְּפָרִים הַקְּדוֹשִׁים כַּנַּ"ל. וּלֶעָתִיד, בָּעוֹלָם הַבָּא מַזְכִּירִין אוֹתוֹ כָּל מַה שֶּׁלָּמַד בָּעוֹלָם הַזֶּה.
Likewise, while still in this world, you should travel to every location in the Torah. In the future life, you will then be able to boast that you have visited every place in our sacred literature. At that time, you will also remember everything you have ever learned.
