צוּר מִשֶּׁלּוֹ אָכַֽלְנוּ בָּרְכוּ אֱמוּנַי

Therefore, we give thanks to His Name, and praise Him with our mouths—
אָמַֽרְנוּ וְעָנִֽינוּ אֵין קָדוֹשׁ כַּיהֹוָה׃
saying and chanting: There is nothing so holy as Adonoy.
צוּר מִשֶּׁלּוֹ אָכַֽלְנוּ בָּרְכוּ אֱמוּנַי שָׂבַֽעְנוּ וְהוֹתַֽרְנוּ כִּדְבַר יְהֹוָה׃

בְּשִׁיר וְקוֹל תּוֹדָה נְבָרֵךְ לֵאלֹהֵֽינוּ
With song and sound of thanksgiving we will bless our God,
עַל אֶֽרֶץ חֶמְדָּה טוֹבָה שֶׁהִנְחִיל לַאֲבוֹתֵֽינוּ
for the land so desirably good⁴⁷ that He parceled out as a heritage to our fathers.

מָזוֹן וְצֵדָה הִשְׂבִּֽיעַ לְנַפְשֵֽׁנוּ

According to them, one should recite or sing the song only in mid- meal.

upon Zion, the dwelling-place of Your Glory, the Abode, home of our splendors.
בֶּן־דָּוִד עַבְדֶּֽךָ יָבֹא וְיִגְאָלֵֽנוּ
May the son of David, Your servant, come and redeem us
רֽוּחַ אַפֵּֽינוּ מְשִֽׁיחַ יְהֹוָה׃
the breath of our life—the anointed of Adonoy.

May the Temple be rebuilt,⁴⁹ the city of Zion filled,

The Merciful One, the Sanctified One, blessed and exalted,

over a full cup of wine, the bounty of Adonoy.
