שיר מזמור: אף כאן שנאמר שיר מזמור, הוא משובח על שאר השירים. שיר של הקב״ה, שבני קרח היו מזמרים על אלו שיושבים בפתחו של גיהנם. ומי הם בני קרח. הם אחיהם של אלו היושבים בפתחו של גיהנם. כמ״ש חז״ל, על הכתוב, ובני קרח לא מתו, שמקום נתבצר להם בגיהנם (מגילה י״ד.) וע״כ שיר זה נאמר ביום שני בבית המקדש. קרבתי אצלם. אמרתי להם, מה אתם עושים במקום הזה. אמרו סוחרים אנו, ושתי פעמים בשבוע, אנו נפרדים מן הישוב ואנו עוסקים בתורה. כי בישוב, מטרידים אותנו בכל יום ויום, בני אדם, ואינם נותנים לנו לעסוק בתורה. אמרתי להם אשרי חלקכם.

And that is why this song is said on the second day in the Temple. I approached them and said: What are you doing in this place? They said to me: We are merchants, and twice a week we separate from the city and occupy ourselves with the Torah. For in the city, people bother us every day and do not let us occupy ourselves with the Torah. I said to them: Happy is your lot.
