The kaf did not wish to depart from her place and connect with me, because she cannot be for a moment other than within it, the throne [kise] (as stated in section 31, above). The samekh did not wish to leave her place because she must support [lismokh] those who are fallen (as stated in section 28, above), for they cannot be without the samekh.
