וְתִטְרוּן יַת מִילֵי שְׁבַח אוֹרַיְיתָא הָדָא וְתַעַבְדוּן יַתְהוֹן מִן בִּגְלַל דְתִתְבּוֹנְנוּן יַת כָּל מַה דְמִתְעַבְּדִין:
And you shall keep the words of this covenant and perform them that you may prosper in all that you do.
טַפְלֵיכוֹן נְשֵׁיכוֹן וְגִיוֹרֵיכוֹן דְאִית בְּגוֹ מַשִׁירְיָתֵיכוֹן מִקְטוּעֵי קֵיסֵיכוֹן עַד מִילוֹי מֵימֵיכוֹן:
Your little ones, wives, and sojourners within your camps, from the hewer of your wood to the filler of your water,
מִלְעָבְרְכוֹן בְּקַיָימָא דַיְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן וּבִשְׁבוּעֲתָא דַיְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן מְקַיֵים עִמְכוֹן יוֹמָא דֵין:
that you may not transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, nor the oath which He confirmeth with you this day:
אֲרוּם כָּל דָרַיָא דִי קָמוּ מִן יְמוֹת עַלְמָא וְעַד כְּדוֹן עִמָךְ קַיָימִין הָכָא יוֹמָא דֵין קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן וְיַת כָּל דָרַיָא דַעֲתִידִין לְמֵיקוּם מִן בַּתְרָן (י"ג כּוּלְהוֹן) כְּאִילוּ קַיָימִין הָכָא עִמָן יוֹמָא דֵין:
All the generations which have arisen from the days of old until now stand with thee to-day before the Lord your God, and all the generations which are to arise after us stand also here with us to-day.
וַחֲמִיתּוּן יַת מַקְשֵׁיצַתְהוֹן וְיַת מַרְחִקַתְהוֹן טַעֲוָון דְקֵיסַיָא וְטַעֲוָון דְאַבְנַיָא טַעֲוָון דִכְסַף וְטַעֲוָון דִדְהַב טַעֲוָותָא דְקֵיסָא וּדְאַבְנָא הֲווֹן מְטַלְקִין יַתְהוֹן בְּשׁוּקַיָיא וְטַעֲוָותָא דְכַסְפָּא וְדַהֲבָא הֲווֹן יְהִיבִין עִמְהוֹן בְּגוֹ בֵּיתָא דַחֲלִין מִנְהוֹן דְלָא יִתְגַנְבוּן:
You have seen their hateful things and their abominations, the idols of wood and stone, of silver and gold; idols of wood and stone set forth in the streets, but those of silver and gold kept with themselves in the house because they were afraid they would be stolen.
דְלָא יֶהֱוֵי לְכוֹן גְבַר אוֹ אִתְּתָא אוֹ זַרְעָא אוֹ שִׁבְטָא דְלִבֵּיהּ סָטֵי יוֹמָא דֵין מִן קֳדָם יְיָ אֱלָהֵן לְמֵזַל לְמִפְלַח יַת טַעֲוָותָא דְעַמְמַיָא הָאִנוּן דִלְמָא יֶהֱוֵי בְּכוֹן גְבַר דְלִבֵּיהּ מְהַרְהֵר בְּחֶטְאָה דְהוּא מְדַמֵי לְשׁוֹרֶשׁ קְבִיעָא בְּאַרְעָא אֲרוּם רֵישֵׁיהּ חֲלֵי כְּדֻבְשָׁא וְסוֹפֵיהּ מָרִיר כְּלַעֲנָתָא דְמוֹתָא:
Lest there be among you man or woman, family or tribe, whose heart is turned away this day from the Lord our God to go and worship the idols of these people, or there be a man among you whose heart pondereth upon sin, which is like a root struck into the earth; for its beginning may be sweet as honey, but its end will be bitter as the deadly wormwood;
