וַחֲמָא אַהֲרן יַת חוּר נְכִיס קֳדָמוֹי וּדְחֵיל וּבְנָא מַדְבְּחָא קֳדָמוֹי וּקְרָא אַהֲרן וַאֲמַר חֲגָא:
And Aharon saw Hur slain before him, and was afraid; and he builded an altar before him, and Aharon cried and said, A feast.
וְקָמוּ לְהוֹן מְגַחְכִין בְּפוּלְחָנָא נוּכְרָאָה:
And they rose up to disport themselves with strange service.
מְבַעֲשִׁין:
Doing evil.
קַל מְקַלְסִין בְּפוּלְחָנָא נוּכְרָאָה:
The voice of them who praise in strange service.
וַחֲמָא משֶׁה יַת עַמָּא אֲרוּם פְּרִיעִין אִינוּן אֲרוּם פְּרָעוּ כְלִילָא דְדַהֲבָא דַהֲוָה בְּרֵישֵׁיהוֹן דַּהֲוָה שְׁמָא מְפַרְשָׁא חָקִיק עֲלֵיהוֹן מִן טוּרָא דְחוֹרֵב:
And Mosheh saw the people that they were uncovered; for they had been stripped of the golden crown which was upon their head, whereon the Name had been engraven and set forth, at Mount Horeb.
