Let us set a king over us, and go round to Mizraim.

יְיָ אָרִיךְ רַחֲמִין וּרְחַק רְגַז וְקָרֵיב רַחֲמִין וּמַסְגֵי לְמֶעֱבַּד חֶסֶד וּקְשׁוֹט וּמְזַכַּיָא לָא מְזַכֵּי יְיָ חַיָיבַיָא בְּיוֹמָא דִינָא מַדְכַּר חוֹבֵי אַבְהָן רַשִׁיעִין עַל בְּנִין מְרָדִין:

The Lord is long-suffering, far from anger, near in mercy, multiplying the exercise of goodness and truth; though the Lord will not justify sinners, but will remember, in the day of judgment, the guilt of wicked fathers upon rebellious children.

וַאֲמַר מֵימְרָא דַיְיָ הָא שְׁרִיתִי וּשְׁבָקִית כְּפִתְגָמָךְ:
