תשובה מתקיעת כף לא מצאתי עתה אף בקצרה אודיעך כי כתב רבי' יצחק ברבי' מנחם שרבינו יוסף בר' שמעון היה מוציא ממון בת:כ ובזה לא דקדקת שכתבת שהמלוה לחבירו מעות קרוב לשכר ורחוק להפסד שאם הפסיד יהי' חצי הפסד למלוה אינו כן אלא גובה את הקרן ואינו גובה את הרבית אם יש שם ריוח וריוח והצלה יעמוד לנו ולכל ישראל כנפש שוחר טובך מאיר בר' ברוך שיחי'.
I have not found the Responsum dealing with a solemn hand-clasp. But, Rabbi Isaak b. Rabbi Menahem wrote that Rabbi Joseph b. Simon¹ used to enforce the collection of money promised to the plaintiff by a solemn hand-clasp. SOURCES: Cr. 62; Am II, 169; cf. Hag. Maim., Shebuoth 11, 3.
