כל הכופר בע"ז נקרא יהודי שנאמר איתי גוברין יהודאין. על שם יהודי שהרי אמר בחלק (סנהדרין דף צג:) דלא הוו משבט יהודה:
Anyone who repudiates idolatry is called a Judean, as it is stated (Daniel 3:12), "There are certain Judean men": In that they were Jews. As behold, it says in [the chapter entitled] Chelek (Sanhedrin 93b) that they were not from the tribe of Judah.
אשר הגלה שגלה מעצמו. ודריש ליה מדלא כתיב הוגלה:
Who had been exiled [...] - that he went into exile on his own: And it expounded it because it was not written, "was exiled (huglah)" [even though it is pronounced that way].
קדלי דחזירי. וח"ו היא לא היתה אוכלת:
Pig hinds: But God forbid - she did not eat [them].
