TorahLM is a free, read-only text and research service from TorahApp. This page explains what information is handled when you use TorahLM.org, its API, or its remote MCP server.

Information we receive

TorahLM does not require an account, login, or authentication. Requests to the website, API, and MCP server may be recorded in aggregate service analytics, including the requested resource, language, client type, user-agent string, and approximate location derived by Cloudflare. We deliberately do not record the raw client IP address in our application analytics. Records of requests we refuse may include a short-lived, non-reversible technical identifier derived from network information, used only to investigate abuse and service reliability. It is not a long-term visitor identifier, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

If you voluntarily submit an email address through the optional NotebookLM builder update form, we store it with the request context so we can provide project updates. We do not sell email addresses.

How information is used

Service analytics are used to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the corpus and its infrastructure. Email addresses submitted for updates are used only for those project communications.

Third-party services and sources

TorahLM is delivered through Cloudflare and retrieves or mirrors material from sources such as Sefaria, Halachipedia, Dicta, and podcast providers. Those services may have their own privacy policies. TorahLM does not send your questions to an AI model; the MCP server and API are retrieval services, not conversational AI.

Your choices

You can use the service without submitting personal information. To ask about or remove an email address submitted through the builder, or to ask a privacy question, contact support@torahlm.org.
