The entire mitzvah that I am commanding you today, are you to guard so as to fulfill; in order that you live and multiply and arrive to inherit the land that Adonoy swore to your forefathers.

All the commandments which I command thee this day shall you observe to do, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers.

Every mitzvah which I command to you this day shall you observe to do, that you may live and multiply, and come and inherit the land that the L-rd your G-d swore to your fathers.

You are to recall the entire way on which Adonoy, your God, led you these forty years in the wilderness; in order to oppress you, to test you, to know what is in your heart—will you guard His commandments or not?

And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldst keep his commandments, or no.

And you shall remember all the way in which the L-rd your G-d led you this forty years in the desert, to afflict you to test you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His mitzvoth [without trying Him or "bethinking yourself" of Him], or not.

He oppressed you and made you hungry, and He fed you the mon that neither you knew nor your forefathers knew, in order to inform you that not by bread alone does man live, rather by the entire expression of Adonoy’s word does man live.

And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord does man live.

And He afflicted you, and He made you hunger, and He fed you the manna, which you did not know, and which your fathers did not know, to make it known to you that not through bread alone shall a man live, but by all that issues from the mouth of the L-rd shall a man live.

Your garment did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.

Thy garment grew not old upon thee, nor did thy foot swell, these forty years.

Your raiment did not wear out from upon you [The clouds of glory would rub their clothing clean, and the garments of children would grow to match their growth], and your feet did not swell [like dough (as occurs with those who go barefoot)] this forty years.

You will know with your heart that the way a man trains his son does Adonoy, your God, train you.

Thou shalt also consider in thy heart, that, as a man chastens his son, so the Lord thy God chastens thee.

And you shall know within your heart that as a man afflicts his son, so does the L-rd your G-d afflict you.

You are to guard the commandments of Adonoy, your God, to go in His ways and to fear Him.

Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

And you shall keep the mitzvoth of the L-rd your G-d, to walk in His ways and fear Him.

For Adonoy, your God, is bringing you to a good land, a land with streams of water, springs and groundwater that emerge in valley and hill.

For the Lord thy God brings thee into a good land, a land of water courses, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

For the L-rd your G-d is bringing you to a good land, a land of streams of water, fountains and depths, issuing forth in valleys and in mountains.

A land of wheat and barley, and grapes and figs and pomegranates; a land of olives and honey.

a land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive oil, and honey;

A land of wheat, barley, grapevine, fig, and pomegranate; a land of olive-oil and honey.

A land where you will not eat bread in poverty, you will lack nothing there; a land whose stones are iron, and from whose hills you will mine copper.

a land in which thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land the stones of which are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayst dig brass.

A land where not in constraint shall you eat bread. You shall lack nothing in it; a land whose stones are iron and from whose mountains you shall hew copper.

You will eat and be full, and you will bless Adonoy, your God, for the good land He has given you.

When thou hast eaten and art replete, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he has given thee.

And you shall eat, and you shall be sated, and you shall bless the L-rd your G-d for the good land that He has given you.

Look out for yourself lest you forget Adonoy, your God, to not guard His commandments, His laws, and His statutes that I am commanding you today.

Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

Take heed unto yourself lest you forget the L-rd your G-d, not to keep His mitzvoth and His judgments and His statutes that I command you this day.

Lest you eat and be full, and build good houses and live [in them.]

lest when thou hast eaten and art replete, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt in them;

Lest you eat and be sated, and you build and inhabit good houses,

And your cattle and your sheep multiply, and silver and gold multiply for you, and everything you own multiplies.

and when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold are multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

And your herds and your flocks increase, and silver and gold increase for you, and whatever you have increase,

And your pride increases, and you forget Adonoy, your God, Who took you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery;

then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Miżrayim, from the house of bondage;

And your heart be lifted and you forget the L-rd your G-d who took you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage,

Who led you through the wilderness—the great and awesome[one]— snake, serpent and scorpion, and thirst where there is no water; Who took water out for you from solid rock;

who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were venomous serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought forth water for thee out of the rock of flint;

Who led you in the great, awesome desert of snake, serpent, scorpion and waterless drought, who brought forth water for you from the rock of flint,

Who fed you mon in the wilderness that your forefathers had not known, in order to oppress you and in order to test you, to ultimately benefit you—

who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might afflict thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

Who fed you manna in the desert, which your fathers did not know, in order to afflict you and in order to try you, to benefit you in your latter end,

And you think, ‘‘My strength and the power of my hand have acquired this wealth for me.’’

and thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.

And you say in your heart: My strength and the might of my hand have wrought this wealth for me —

Recall Adonoy, your God, for it is He Who gives you counsel to acquire wealth, in order to establish His covenant that He swore to your forefathers this day.

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he who gives thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to thy fathers, as it is this day.

Then you shall remember the L-rd your G-d. For it is He who gives you strength to prosper, to establish His covenant that He swore to your fathers, as of this day.

When and if you forget Adonoy, your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and bow to them, I testify about you today that you will surely be destroyed.

And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

And it shall be, if you forget the L-rd your G-d and walk after other gods and serve them and bow down to them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely go lost.

Like the nations that Adonoy is destroying before you, so will you be destroyed, as a consequence of your not heeding Adonoy, your God.

As the nations which the Lord destroys before your face, so shall you perish; because you would not be obedient to the voice of the Lord your God.

As the nations which the L-rd causes to go lost from before you, so will you go lost, for you did not hearken to the voice of the L-rd your G-d.
