וַיַּ֧עַשׂ בְּצַלְאֵ֛ל אֶת־הָאָרֹ֖ן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֨יִם וָחֵ֜צִי אׇרְכּ֗וֹ וְאַמָּ֤ה וָחֵ֙צִי֙ רׇחְבּ֔וֹ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃
Betzalel made the ark of acacia wood, two and one-half amohs long, one and one-half amohs wide, and one and one-half amohs high.
And Beżal᾽el made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height:
And Betzalel made the ark [(its making being ascribed to him rather than to the other artisans because of his total dedication to the work)], of acacia wood: two and a half cubits, its length; one and a half cubits, its breadth; and one and a half cubits, its height.
וַיְצַפֵּ֛הוּ זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר מִבַּ֣יִת וּמִח֑וּץ וַיַּ֥עַשׂ ל֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃
He covered it with pure gold from inside and out. He made for it a golden crown-like rim around (its top).
and he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a rim of gold to it round about.
And he covered it with pure gold from inside and from outside. And he made for it a rim of gold roundabout.
וַיִּצֹ֣ק ל֗וֹ אַרְבַּע֙ טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב עַ֖ל אַרְבַּ֣ע פַּעֲמֹתָ֑יו וּשְׁתֵּ֣י טַבָּעֹ֗ת עַל־צַלְעוֹ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת וּשְׁתֵּי֙ טַבָּעֹ֔ת עַל־צַלְע֖וֹ הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃
He cast four gold rings on its (the ark’s) four corners, two rings on one side and two rings on the other side.
And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by its four corners; even two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.
And he cast for it four golden rings for its four corners; two rings on one side and two rings on the other side.
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ בַּדֵּ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וַיְצַ֥ף אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃
He made two poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold.
And he made poles of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
And he made staves of acacia wood and he covered them with gold.
וַיָּבֵ֤א אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ בַּטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֖ל צַלְעֹ֣ת הָאָרֹ֑ן לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הָאָרֹֽן׃
He placed the poles in the rings on the sides of the ark, so that the ark can be carried with them.
And he put the poles into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
And he inserted the staves in the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark therewith.
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ כַּפֹּ֖רֶת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר אַמָּתַ֤יִם וָחֵ֙צִי֙ אׇרְכָּ֔הּ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי רׇחְבָּֽהּ׃
He made a cover (for the ark) of pure gold, two and one-half amohs long, and one and one-half amohs wide.
And he made the covering of pure gold: two cubits and a half was its length, and one cubit and a half its breadth.
And he made a kaporeth of pure gold: two and a half cubits its length and a cubit and a half its width.
וַיַּ֛עַשׂ שְׁנֵ֥י כְרֻבִ֖ים זָהָ֑ב מִקְשָׁה֙ עָשָׂ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם מִשְּׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃
He made two golden Cherubim. He hammered them out of the two ends of the (ark) cover.
And he made two keruvim of gold, beaten out of one piece he made them, on the two ends of the covering;
And he made two golden cherubs. Of beaten work he made them, at the two ends of the kaporeth.
כְּרוּב־אֶחָ֤ד מִקָּצָה֙ מִזֶּ֔ה וּכְרוּב־אֶחָ֥ד מִקָּצָ֖ה מִזֶּ֑ה מִן־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת עָשָׂ֥ה אֶת־הַכְּרֻבִ֖ים מִשְּׁנֵ֥י (קצוותו) [קְצוֹתָֽיו]׃
One Cherub out of one end, and one Cherub out of the other end. From the (same piece of gold as the) cover itself, he made the Cherubim on its two ends.
one keruv on the end on this side, and another keruv on the other end on that side: out of the covering made he the keruvim at the two ends of it.
One cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end. From the kaporeth [itself] he made the cherubs, from its two ends.
וַיִּהְי֣וּ הַכְּרֻבִים֩ פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י כְנָפַ֜יִם לְמַ֗עְלָה סֹֽכְכִ֤ים בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם֙ עַל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־אָחִ֑יו אֶ֨ל־הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת הָי֖וּ פְּנֵ֥י הַכְּרֻבִֽים׃{פ}
The Cherubim had their wings spread upward, sheltering the cover with their wings, and they faced one another, the Cherubim’s faces were (inclined) toward the cover.
And the keruvim spread out their wings on high, and spread with their wings over the covering, with their faces one to another; toward the covering were the faces of the keruvim.
And the cherubs had their wings spread on high, covering the kaporeth with their wings from above. And their faces were towards each other. Towards the kaporeth were the faces of the cherubs.
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֖ן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֤יִם אׇרְכּוֹ֙ וְאַמָּ֣ה רׇחְבּ֔וֹ וְאַמָּ֥ה וָחֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽוֹ׃
He made a table out of acacia wood, two amohs long, one amoh wide, and one and one-half amohs high.
And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was its length, and a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height:
And he made the table of acacia wood: two cubits, its length; one cubit, its breadth; and a cubit and a half, its height.
וַיְצַ֥ף אֹת֖וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וַיַּ֥עַשׂ ל֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃
He overlaid it with pure gold, and he made a crown-like rim around it.
and he overlaid it with pure gold, and made for it a rim of gold round about.
And he covered it with pure gold, and he made for it a rim of gold roundabout.
וַיַּ֨עַשׂ ל֥וֹ מִסְגֶּ֛רֶת טֹ֖פַח סָבִ֑יב וַיַּ֧עַשׂ זֵר־זָהָ֛ב לְמִסְגַּרְתּ֖וֹ סָבִֽיב׃
He made a ledge of a tefach around (the table), and he made a gold crown-like rim around the ledge.
Also he made for it a border of a handbreadth round about; and made a rim of gold for its border round about.
And he made a frame for it, a handbreadth roundabout. And he made a golden rim for its frame roundabout.
וַיִּצֹ֣ק ל֔וֹ אַרְבַּ֖ע טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֚ל אַרְבַּ֣ע הַפֵּאֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר לְאַרְבַּ֥ע רַגְלָֽיו׃
He cast for it (the table) four gold rings, and placed the rings on the four corners that are on its four legs.
And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that were on its four legs.
And he cast for it four golden rings. And he placed the rings on the four corners of its four legs.
לְעֻמַּת֙ הַמִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת הָי֖וּ הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת בָּתִּים֙ לַבַּדִּ֔ים לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃
The rings were against the ledge as houses (receptacles) for the poles with which to carry the table.
Over against the border were the rings, the places for the poles to bear the table.
Opposite the [corners of the] frame were the rings, housings for the staves for the carrying of the table.
וַיַּ֤עַשׂ אֶת־הַבַּדִּים֙ עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וַיְצַ֥ף אֹתָ֖ם זָהָ֑ב לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃
He made the poles out of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold with which to carry the table.
And he made the poles of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
And he made the staves of acacia wood, and he covered them with gold, to carry the table therewith.
וַיַּ֜עַשׂ אֶֽת־הַכֵּלִ֣ים**׀** אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֗ן אֶת־קְעָרֹתָ֤יו וְאֶת־כַּפֹּתָיו֙ וְאֵת֙ מְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔יו וְאֶ֨ת־הַקְּשָׂוֺ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֻסַּ֖ךְ בָּהֵ֑ן זָהָ֖ב טָהֽוֹר׃{פ}
He made the vessels that were on the table, its dishes (bread shapes), its spoons (incense bowls), its supports, and its half-hollow tubes by which they (the breads) are covered, out of pure gold.
And he made the vessels which were upon the table, its dishes, and its spoons, and its bowls, and its jars for pouring out, of pure gold.
And he made the implements which were on the table: its [bread-] moulds, its censers, its canes, and its staves, by which [canes] it [the show-bread] was covered — pure gold.
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָ֖ה זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר מִקְשָׁ֞ה עָשָׂ֤ה אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה֙ יְרֵכָ֣הּ וְקָנָ֔הּ גְּבִיעֶ֛יהָ כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥יהָ וּפְרָחֶ֖יהָ מִמֶּ֥נָּה הָיֽוּ׃
He made the menorah (out) of pure gold. The menorah was made by hammering (its form out of a solid piece of gold). Its base, its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers were of it (the same piece of gold).
And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; its shaft, and its branches, its bowls, its bulbs, and its flowers, were of the same piece:
And he made the menorah of pure gold. Of beaten work did he make the menorah. Its base, its [central] shaft, its bowls, its bulbs, and its flowers were (fashioned) from it [the one piece of gold].
וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה קָנִ֔ים יֹצְאִ֖ים מִצִּדֶּ֑יהָ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה**׀** קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֗ה מִצִּדָּהּ֙ הָֽאֶחָ֔ד וּשְׁלֹשָׁה֙ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֔ה מִצִּדָּ֖הּ הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃
Six branches extended from its sides, three branches of the menorah from one of its sides, and three branches of the menorah from the second side.
and six branches going out of its sides; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side of it, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side of it:
And six branches emerged from its sides, three branches of the menorah from one side, and three branches of the menorah from the other side.
שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְ֠בִעִ֠ים מְֽשֻׁקָּדִ֞ים בַּקָּנֶ֣ה הָאֶחָד֮ כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָפֶ֒רַח֒ וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְבִעִ֗ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֛ים בְּקָנֶ֥ה אֶחָ֖ד כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָפָ֑רַח כֵּ֚ן לְשֵׁ֣שֶׁת הַקָּנִ֔ים הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃
Three cups were engraved in almond-shaped patterns, on one branch with a knob and a flower, and three cups were engraved in almond-shaped patterns, on one branch with a knob and a flower. So was (the form) of each of the six branches that extended from (the shaft) of the menorah.
three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a bulb and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a bulb and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
Three chased bowls on one branch, with bulb and flower; and three chased bowls on the other branch, with bulb and flower. So, with (all) six branches that project from the menorah.
וּבַמְּנֹרָ֖ה אַרְבָּעָ֣ה גְבִעִ֑ים מְשֻׁ֨קָּדִ֔ים כַּפְתֹּרֶ֖יהָ וּפְרָחֶֽיהָ׃
The (shaft of the) menorah had four cups, engraved in almond shaped patterns, with their knobs and their flowers.
And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, its bulbs, and its flowers:
And on the [central shaft of the] menorah were four bowls, chased, its bulbs and its flowers.
וְכַפְתֹּ֡ר תַּ֩חַת֩ שְׁנֵ֨י הַקָּנִ֜ים מִמֶּ֗נָּה וְכַפְתֹּר֙ תַּ֣חַת שְׁנֵ֤י הַקָּנִים֙ מִמֶּ֔נָּה וְכַפְתֹּ֕ר תַּֽחַת־שְׁנֵ֥י הַקָּנִ֖ים מִמֶּ֑נָּה לְשֵׁ֙שֶׁת֙ הַקָּנִ֔ים הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים מִמֶּֽנָּה׃
There was a knob under the two branches extending from it, and a (second) knob under the (second) two branches extending from it, and a (third) knob under the (third) two branches extending from it. (This held true) for the six branches that extended from it (the menorah’s shaft).
and a bulb under two branches of the same, and a bulb under two branches of the same, and a bulb under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
And a bulb under the two branches from it [the one piece of gold], and a bulb under the (next) two branches from it, and a bulb under the next two branches from it, (thus) for (all) the six branches that project from it.
כַּפְתֹּרֵיהֶ֥ם וּקְנֹתָ֖ם מִמֶּ֣נָּה הָי֑וּ כֻּלָּ֛הּ מִקְשָׁ֥ה אַחַ֖ת זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃
Their knobs and their branches were made out of (the menorah) itself. It was all made of a single hammered work of pure gold.
Their bulbs and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
Their bulbs and their branches from it were (fashioned), all one (piece of) beaten work of pure gold.
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־נֵרֹתֶ֖יהָ שִׁבְעָ֑ה וּמַלְקָחֶ֥יהָ וּמַחְתֹּתֶ֖יהָ זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר׃
He made seven lamps (for the menorah), and its tongs and its (ash) scoops, of pure gold.
And he made its seven lamps, and its tongs, and its ashpans of pure gold.
And he made its lamps, seven, and its tongs and its snuff-dishes, pure gold.
כִּכָּ֛ר זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר עָשָׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑הּ וְאֵ֖ת כׇּל־כֵּלֶֽיהָ׃{פ}
He made it out of a kikar of pure gold, together with all its vessels.
Of a talent of pure gold he made it, and all its vessels.
(Of) a talent of pure gold he made it [together] with all of its vessels.
וַיַּ֛עַשׂ אֶת־מִזְבַּ֥ח הַקְּטֹ֖רֶת עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּ֣ה אׇרְכּוֹ֩ וְאַמָּ֨ה רׇחְבּ֜וֹ רָב֗וּעַ וְאַמָּתַ֙יִם֙ קֹֽמָת֔וֹ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ הָי֥וּ קַרְנֹתָֽיו׃
He made the incense altar out of acacia wood, one amoh long and one amoh wide, it was square, and two amohs high. Its horn-like elevations were of one piece with it.
And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was its height; its horns were of the same.
And he made the incense altar of acacia wood, a cubit its length and a cubit its width — square — and two cubits its height. From it were its horns (made).
וַיְצַ֨ף אֹת֜וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֗וֹר אֶת־גַּגּ֧וֹ וְאֶת־קִירֹתָ֛יו סָבִ֖יב וְאֶת־קַרְנֹתָ֑יו וַיַּ֥עַשׂ ל֛וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב׃
He overlaid it with pure gold, on its top, its walls all around, and its horn-like elevations. He made a gold crown-like rim all around it.
And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides of it round about, and its horns: also he made for it a rim of gold round about.
And he covered it with pure gold, its roof and its walls roundabout and its horns. And he made for it a rim of gold roundabout.
וּשְׁתֵּי֩ טַבְּעֹ֨ת זָהָ֜ב עָֽשָׂה־ל֣וֹ**׀** מִתַּ֣חַת לְזֵר֗וֹ עַ֚ל שְׁתֵּ֣י צַלְעֹתָ֔יו עַ֖ל שְׁנֵ֣י צִדָּ֑יו לְבָתִּ֣ים לְבַדִּ֔ים לָשֵׂ֥את אֹת֖וֹ בָּהֶֽם׃
He made two gold rings for it under its crown-like rim on two of its corners, on its two opposite sides, to house the poles with which to carry it.
And he made two rings of gold for it under its crown, by its two corners, upon its two sides, to be places for the poles with which to bear it.
And he made for it two golden rings, beneath its rim at its two corners, on its two sides, for housings for the staves to carry it thereby.
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־הַבַּדִּ֖ים עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וַיְצַ֥ף אֹתָ֖ם זָהָֽב׃
He made the poles out of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
And he made the poles of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
And he made the staves of acacia wood and he covered them with gold.
וַיַּ֜עַשׂ אֶת־שֶׁ֤מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה֙ קֹ֔דֶשׁ וְאֶת־קְטֹ֥רֶת הַסַּמִּ֖ים טָה֑וֹר מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה רֹקֵֽחַ׃{ס}
He made the sacred anointing oil and the pure perfumed incense, according to the work of the perfumer.
And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the perfumer.
And he made the oil of sacred anointment and the pure incense spices, the work of a spice blender.
