He made the burnt-offering altar out of acacia wood. It was five amohs long and five amohs wide, it was square, and three amohs high.

And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was its length, and five cubits its breadth; it was foursquare; and three cubits its height.

And he made the burnt-offering altar of acacia wood, five cubits its length and five cubits its width — square — and three cubits its height.

He made its raised projections on its four corners. Its raised projections were one piece with it, and he overlaid it with copper.

And he made its horns on the four corners of it; its horns were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.

And he made its horns on its four corners. From it [the altar itself] were its horns (made). And he covered it with copper.

He made all the vessels of the altar, its pots, its scoops, its basins, its flesh-hooks, and its fire pans. He made all of its vessels out of copper.

And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pans, and the shovels, and the basins, and the forks, and the firepans: all its vessels he made of brass.

And he made all the implements of the altar: the pots, and the shovels, and the sprinkling basins, and the spits, and the fire-pans. All of its implements he made of copper.

He made for the altar a grate of copper netting, under its rim extending downward, (so that the grate reached) to the middle of the altar.

And he made for the altar a brazen grate of network under its ledge beneath, placed half way.

And he made for the altar a copper lattice, netting work, under its karkov [an encircling decorative band] below, (and the netting extended) until its (the altar's) mid-point.

He cast four rings on the four corners of the copper grating to house the poles.

And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the poles.

And he cast four rings on the four edges of the copper lattice, housings for the staves.

He made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with copper.

And he made the poles of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.

And he made the staves of acacia wood, and he covered them with copper.

He placed the poles into the rings that were on the (two) sides of the altar to carry it with them. He made it a hollow structure constructed from boards.

And he put the poles into the rings on the sides of the altar, with which to bear it; he made the altar hollow with boards.

And he inserted the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar to carry it therewith. A hollow of boards did he make it [the altar].

He made the basin out of copper and its base out of copper, from the mirrors of the women who had gathered at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.

And he made the laver of brass, and its pedestal of brass, of the mirrors of the women assembling, who assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

And he made the kiyyor (the laver) of copper and its pedestal of copper with [the copper of] the mirrors of the congregating women, who congregated [to bring their contributions] at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

He made the enclosure (for the mishkon). On the south side the curtains for the enclosure were made of fine, twined linen, one hundred amohs long.

And he made the court: on the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, a hundred cubits:

And he made the court (of the mishkan), on the southern side, the curtains of the court of twisted linen, a hundred cubits (long on one side).

It had twenty pillars and twenty copper sockets. The hooks and bands of the pillars were of silver.

their pillars were twenty, and their brazen sockets twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their joints were of silver.

Their pillars twenty and their sockets twenty, of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their belts, of silver.

On the north side, (its length was) one hundred amohs. It had twenty pillars and twenty copper sockets. The hooks and bands of the pillars were of silver.

And for the north side the hangings were a hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their joints of silver.

And on the northern side, a hundred cubits, their pillars twenty and their sockets twenty, of copper; the hooks of the pillars and their belts, of silver.

On the west side, the curtains were of fifty amohs. It had ten pillars and ten sockets. The hooks and bands of the pillars were of silver.

And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their joints of silver.

And on the western side, curtains, fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets, ten; the hooks of the pillars and their belts, of silver.

(The width of the enclosure) on the east side was fifty amohs.

And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.

And on the front side, to the east, fifty cubits.

Curtains fifteen amohs long were on one flank (of the entrance). They had three pillars and three sockets.

The hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

Curtains, fifteen cubits, on the shoulder, their pillars three and their sockets three.

The other flank, on either side of the gate to the enclosure (there also were) curtains fifteen amohs long. They (too) had three pillars and three sockets.

And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

And on the second shoulder, (one) on either side of the gate of the court, curtains, fifteen cubits, their pillars three and their sockets three.

All curtains around the enclosure were made of twined, fine linen.

All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.

All the curtains of the court roundabout, of twisted linen.

The sockets for the pillars were of copper, the hooks and bands of the pillars were of silver, and the covering of their tops was of silver. All pillars of the enclosure had silver bands.

And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their joints of silver; and the overlaying of their capitals of silver; and all the pillars of the court were bound with silver.

And the sockets for the pillars, of copper, the hooks of the pillars and their belts, of silver, and the covering of their tops, of silver. And they were belted with silver, all the pillars of the court.

The screen at the entrance of the enclosure was the work of an embroiderer. It was made of greenish blue wool, dark red wool, crimson wool, and twined, fine linen. It was twenty amohs long and the height in the width was five amohs, corresponding to the curtains of the enclosure.

And the screen for the gate of the court was embroidered work, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.

And the screen of the gate of the court, the work of an embroiderer, blue wool, and purple wool, and scarlet wool, and twisted linen; and (it was) twenty cubits long, and high in (its) width five cubits, as the size [five cubits] of the curtains of the court.

(The screen) had four pillars and four copper sockets, silver hooks, and their tops and bands were overlaid with silver.

And their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals and their joints of silver.

And their pillars four and their sockets four, of copper; their hooks, of silver, and the covering of their tops and their belt, of silver.

All the stakes of the mishkon and the surrounding enclosure were made of copper.

And all the pegs of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.

And all the pegs of the mishkan and of the court roundabout, of copper.

These are the accounts of the mishkon, the mishkon of Testimony, that were drawn up by Moshe’s order; for the work of the Levites under the direction of Isamar, son of Aharon the kohein.

These are the accounts of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the Testimony, as they were counted, according to the commandment of Moshe, for the work of the Levites by the hand of Itamar the son of Aharon the priest.

These are the accountings of the [donations for and the appurtenances of] the mishkan, the mishkan of testimony [testimony to G d's having "bypassed" the sin of the golden calf, having reposed His shechinah there. (The doubling of "mishkan" alludes to the Temple's twice having been taken as "collateral" (mashkon) for the sins of Israel)], (the accountings made) by word of Moses [of the articles of] the service of the Levites, [the Levites carrying them, setting them up, and taking them down] as designated by Ithamar the son of Aaron the Cohein, [Ithamar assigning to each Levitical "father's house" its specific service.]

Betzalel, son of Uri, son of Chur, of the tribe of Yehudah, made all that Adonoy commanded Moshe.

And Beżal᾽el the son of Uri, the son of Ḥur, of the tribe of Yehuda, made all that the Lord commanded Moshe.

And Betzalel the son of Uri the son of Chur of the tribe of Judah did all that the L-rd had commanded Moses, [even things which Moses had not "relayed" to Betzalel. Moses first charged Betzalel to make the appurtenances and then the mishkan, and Betzalel, in practice, reversed the order, this, ("making the house first and then the furnishing"), indeed, according with what the L-rd had commanded Moses.]

With him was Oholiav, son of Achisamach, of the tribe of Dan, sculptor and craftsman, and embroiderer in greenish-blue wool, dark red wool, crimson wool, and fine linen.

And with him was Oholi᾽av, son of Aĥisamakh, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and an artist, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.

And with him, Ahaliav the son of Achisamach of the tribe of Dan, craftsman, artist, and embroiderer, in blue wool, purple wool, scarlet wool, and linen.

All the gold that was used for the work in all the work of the Sanctuary. The gold donated as a wave offering amounted to twenty-nine kikar and seven hundred and thirty shekel, (measured) by the Sanctuary standard.

All the gold that was applied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

All the gold that was used for the work, in all the work of the sanctuary — the gold of the offering was twenty-nine kikar [(one kikar = three thousand shekels)] and seven hundred and thirty shekels in the shekel of the sanctuary.

The silver (collected) by the community census (amounted to) one hundred kikar, and one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekel, (measured) by the Sanctuary standard,

And the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was a hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and seventy five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:

And the silver of the accountings of the assembly: a hundred kikar [(accounting for six hundred thousand people, each giving a half shekel)], and one thousand and seven hundred and seventy-five shekels in the shekel of the sanctuary.

one beka per person, (the equivalent of) a half-shekel, (measured) by the Sanctuary standard, from each one included in the census, from the age of twenty years and up, for six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty (men).

a beqa for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for everyone that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty men.

A beka [a half shekel] for every head, a half shekel in the shekel of the sanctuary for all who passed to be counted, from the age of twenty years and above, for six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty (men).

One hundred kikar of this silver was (used) to cast the sockets for the mishkon and the sockets for the paroches (partition). One hundred sockets (were cast) from one hundred kikar, one kikar for each socket.

And of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the veil; a hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a socket.

And the hundred kikar of silver were for casting the sockets of the [beams of the] sanctuary [the mishkan (ninety-six sockets for forty-eight beams)] and the sockets of the parocheth [(four sockets for four pillars)]. A hundred sockets for a hundred kikar, a kikar per socket.

Of the (remaining) one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five (shekel) he made hooks for the pillars, overlaid their caps and made bands for them.

And of the thousand seven hundred and seventy five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their capitals, and bound them.

And from the one thousand and seven hundred and seventy-five, he made hooks for the pillars and covered their [the pillars'] tops and belted them.

The copper (donated as) a wave offering (amounted to) seventy kikar, and two thousand four hundred shekel,

And the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand four hundred shekels.

And the copper of the offering was seventy kikar and two thousand and four hundred shekels.

from which he made sockets for the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, the copper altar with its copper grate, all the altar’s vessels,

And with that he made the sockets to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and the brazen altar, and the brazen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,

And he made of it the sockets of the entrance of the tent of meeting, and the copper altar, and its copper lattice, and all the implements of the altar.
