From the greenish-blue wool, dark red wool, and crimson wool, they made garments of distinction for service in the Sanctuary, and they made sacred garments for Aharon, just as Adonoy commanded Moshe.

And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made uniforms, with which to do service in the holy place, and they made the holy garments for Aharon; as the Lord commanded Moshe.

And from the purple wool and the blue wool they made mesh vestments for covering the holy (appurtenances) [see 35:19] and they made the consecrated garments of Aaron, as the L-rd had commanded Moses.

He made the eiphod out of gold, greenish-blue wool, dark red wool, crimson wool, and twisted, fine linen.

And he made the efod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

And he made the ephod of gold, blue wool, purple wool, scarlet wool, and twisted linen.

They beat the plates of gold and cut (them) into threads to work them into the greenish-blue wool, into the dark red wool, into the crimson wool, and into the fine linen, the work of a craftsman.

And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, the work of an artist.

And they beat the plates of gold and cut [from the thin plate] strands to work into the blue wool [(i.e., one thread of gold intertwined with six of blue wool, etc.)]. And into the purple wool, and into the scarlet wool, and into the linen, the work of an artist.

They made shoulder straps attached to it, attached at its two corners.

They made shoulderpieces for it, joined on: by the two edges was it joined on.

Shoulder straps did they make for it, attached — attached at its two ends.

The eiphod’s belt which was on it, was woven with it in the same manner (as the eiphod) (with) gold, greenish-blue wool, dark red wool, crimson wool, and twined, fine linen. just as Adonoy commanded.

And the finely wrought girdle of the efod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to its work; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the Lord commanded Moshe.

And the cheishev [the belt] of his adornment which is above it, was of it, after its manner [see 28:8], gold, blue wool, purple wool, scarlet wool, and twisted linen, as the L-rd had commanded Moses.

They placed the shoham stones in gold settings, They (the stones) were engraved like the engraving of a signet (ring), with the names of the B’nei Yisrael.

And they arranged the shoham stones enclosed in fixtures of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Yisra᾽el.

And they made the shoham stones surrounded by golden settings, engraved as the engraving of a signet with the names of the children of Israel.

He set them on the shoulder straps of the eiphod, as remembrance stones for the B’nei Yisrael, just as Adonoy commanded Moshe.

And he put them on the shoulders of the efod, that they should be stones of memorial to the children of Yisra᾽el; as the Lord commanded Moshe.

And he placed them on the shoulder straps of the ephod, stones of remembrance for the children of Israel, as the L-rd had commanded Moses.

He made the breastplate the work of a craftsman, in the same manner the eiphod was made, (out of) gold, greenish-blue wool, dark red wool, crimson wool and twined, fine linen.

And he made the breastplate of artistic work, like the work of the efod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

And he made the choshen, artistic work, like the work of the ephod: gold, blue wool, purple wool, scarlet wool, and twisted linen.

They made the breastplate a doubled square, a span in its length and a span in its width.

It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was its length, and a span its breadth, being doubled.

It was square; folded did they make the choshen, a zereth its length and a zereth its width, folded.

They filled them (the breastplate settings) with four rows of stones: The first row: An odem (ruby), pitda (topaz), and barekes (emerald), (was placed on) the first row.

And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a ruby, a chrysolithe, and a beryl: this was the first row.

And they filled it with four rows of stone. A row of odem, pitedah and bareketh, the one row.

The second row: nofech (carbuncle), sapphire, and yahalom (diamond).

And the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond.

The second row — nofech, sapir, and yahalom.

The third row: leshem (opal), shevo (agate), and achlomo (amethyst).

And the third row, a ligure, and an agate, and a jasper.

The third row — leshem, shevo, and achlamah.

The fourth row: tarshish (chrysolite), shoham (onyx), and yoshfei (jasper). (They were) placed in gold settings in their fullness.

And the fourth row, an emerald, a shoham, and a jade: they were inclosed in fixtures of gold in their settings.

And the fourth row — tarshish, shoham, and yashfeh. They were surrounded by golden settings with their fillings [see 28:20].

These stones had the names of the B’nei Yisrael, twelve of them by their names, each one’s name engraved as on a signet (ring), representing the twelve tribes.

And the stones were according to the names of the children of Yisra᾽el, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, everyone with its name, according to the twelve tribes.

And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve according to their names, like the engraving of a signet, each by his name for the twelve tribes.

They made twisted end-chains for the breastplate, braided work of pure gold.

And they made upon the breastplate plaited chains, of wreathen work of pure gold.

And they made for the choshen chains at the edge, braidwork of pure gold.

They made two gold settings, and two gold rings. They set the two gold rings at the two (upper) corners of the breastplate.

And they made two fixtures of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.

And they made two golden settings and two golden rings, and they placed the two rings on the two settings of the choshen.

They put (attached) the two gold-braided chains on the two rings, at the corners of the breastplate.

And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

And they placed the two golden braids on the two rings at the ends of the choshen.

The two ends of the two braided chains they put (attached) to the two settings, and placed them on the shoulder straps of the eiphod toward the front.

And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two fixtures, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the efod, toward the forepart of it.

And the two ends of the two braids they placed on the two settings and they placed them on the shoulder straps of the ephod on its face.

They made two gold rings and set them on the two (lower) corners of the breastplate, on its edge that was on the inner side of the eiphod.

And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the efod inwards.

And they made two golden rings, and they placed them on the two ends of the choshen on its edge which faces the ephod, inwards.

They made two gold rings and placed them on the two shoulder straps of the eiphod, on the bottom, toward the front, against where they were joined, above the eiphod’s belt.

And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the efod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against its coupling, above the finely wrought girdle of the efod.

And they made two golden rings, and they placed them on the (origin of the) two shoulder straps of the ephod below, on its face, opposite [i.e., near] where it is attached, above the cheishev of the ephod.

They bound the (lower) rings of the breastplate to the (lower) rings of the eiphod with a cord of greenish-blue wool, so that it (the breastplate) remained against the eiphod’s belt, so that the breastplate did not move from the eiphod, just as Adonoy commanded Moshe.

And they did bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the efod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the finely wrought girdle of the efod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the efod; as the Lord commanded Moshe.

And they bound the choshen from its rings to the rings of the ephod with a string of blue wool to be on the cheishev of the ephod. And the choshen shall not be detached from the ephod, as the L-rd commanded Moses.

He made the robe of the eiphod of woven work, completely out of greenish-blue wool.

And he made the robe of the efod of woven work, all of blue.

And he made the me'il of the ephod, the work of a weaver, entirely of blue wool.

The opening of the robe was turned inward like the opening around a coat of armor, with a border all around the opening so that it did not tear.

And there was a hole in the midst of the robe, like the hole of a suit of armour, with a band round about the hole, that it should not tear.

And the head-opening of the me'il was (folded over) within it, as the opening of a suit of armor. Its opening had a border roundabout, so that it not be torn.

They made on the robe’s (lower) hem, pomegranates of greenish-blue wool, dark red wool, crimson wool, (that were) twined together.

And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

And they made on the (lower) hem of the me'il pomegranates of blue wool, and purple wool, and scarlet wool, twisted.

They made pure gold bells, and put the bells between the pomegranates, on the (lower) hem of the robe all around, between the pomegranates.

And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

And they made bells of pure gold, and they placed the bells in the midst of the pomegranates, on the hem of the me'il roundabout in the midst of the pomegranates.

A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, on the (lower) hem of the robe all around, for performing (Divine) service, just as Adonoy commanded Moshe.

a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the Lord commanded Moshe.

A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, on the hem of the me'il roundabout, to minister, as the L-rd had commanded Moses.

They made fine linen undershirts, of woven work, for Aharon and his sons.

And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aharon, and for his sons,

And they made the kathnoth of linen, the work of a weaver, for Aaron and his sons.

(They made) a fine linen turban, and the slendor of the fine linen turban-hats, and the linen pants, (all out of) fine, twined linen,

and the mitre of fine linen, and goodly turbans of fine linen and linen breeches of fine twined linen,

And the mitznefeth of linen, and the splendrous migbaoth of linen and the linen michnasayim of twisted linen.

(They made) the sash-belt of fine, twined linen, and greenish-blue wool, dark red wool, and crimson wool, the work of an embroiderer, just as Adonoy commanded Moshe.

and a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, the work of an embroiderer; as the Lord commanded Moshe.

And the avneit of twisted linen and blue wool, purple wool, and scarlet wool, the work of an embroiderer, as the L-rd had commanded Moses.

They made a diadem—a holy crown, of pure gold. They wrote upon it a writing in the manner of a signet (ring), “Holy unto Adonoy.”

And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like the engravings of a signet, Holiness to the Lord.

And they made the tzitz, the holy crown of pure gold. And they inscribed it as the engraving of a signet: "Holy to the L-rd."

They put (fastened) on it a greenish-blue wool cord, to fasten it to the turban from above, just as Adonoy commanded Moshe.

And they tied to it a lace of blue, to fasten it on the mitre above; as the Lord commanded Moshe.

And they placed on it a string of blue wool to place on the mitznefeth from above, as the L-rd had commanded Moses.

Thus was completed all the work of the mishkon of the Tent of Meeting. B’nei Yisrael did everything just as Adonoy commanded Moshe, so they did.

Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting finished: and the children of Yisra᾽el did according to all that the Lord commanded Moshe, so they did.

And all the work of the mishkan of the tent of meeting was completed. And the children of Israel did [the work]. As all that the L-rd had commanded Moses; thus did they do.

They brought the mishkon to Moshe—the Tent and all its vessels, its clasps, planks, bars, pillars, and sockets,

And they brought the tabernacle to Moshe, the Tent, and all its furniture, its clasps, its boards, its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets,

And they brought the mishkan to Moses [to set up (lacking the strength to do it themselves)], the tent and all its implements: its hooks, its beams, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets.

the covering of the red dyed rams’ skins, and the covering of the tachash skins, and the paroches (partition)-screen,

and the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, and the covering of taĥash skins, and the veil of the screen,

And the cover of rams' skins dyed red, and the cover of tachash skins, and the parocheth partition.

the ark of the Testimony, its poles, its cover,

the copper altar and its copper grate, along with its poles and all its vessels, the laver and its base,

curtains for the enclosure, its pillars and its sockets, the screen for the entrance to the enclosure, its cords and its stakes, all the vessels for the service of the mishkon of the Tent of Meeting,

the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its sockets, and the screen for the court gate, its cords, and its pegs, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the Tent of Meeting,

The curtains of the court, its pillars and its sockets and the partition for the gate of the court, its cords and its pegs, and all the implements of the service of the mishkan of the tent of meeting.

the garments of distinction for service in the Sanctuary, the sacred garments for Aharon the kohein, and the garments of his sons for priestly service.

the uniforms for service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aharon the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office.

The mesh vestments for covering the holy (appurtenances), the consecrated garments of Aaron the Cohein, and the garments of his sons for ministering.

According to all that Adonoy commanded Moshe, so did B’nei Yisrael do all the work.

According to all that the Lord commanded Moshe, so the children of Yisra᾽el did all the work.

As all that the L-rd had commanded Moses, thus did the children of Israel do all of the work.

Moshe saw the entire work, and behold, they did it just as Adonoy commanded, so had they done, and Moshe blessed them.

And Moshe saw all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moshe blessed them.

And Moses saw all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the L-rd had commanded; thus had they done it. And Moses blessed them.
