Adonoy spoke to Moshe, saying:

And the Lord spoke to Moshe saying,

And the L-rd spoke to Moses, saying:

Speak to Aharon and to his sons and to all Bnei Yisroel and say to them; this is the edict that Adonoy commanded, saying:

Speak to Aharon, and to his sons, and to all the children of Yisra᾽el, and say to them; This is the thing which the Lord has commanded, saying,

Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the children of Israel and say to them: This is the thing that the L-rd commanded, saying:

Each and every person of the House of Israel who will slaughter an ox, lamb, or goat within the encampment or who will slaughter [it] beyond the encampment.

What man soever there be of the house of Yisra᾽el, that kills an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that kills it outside the camp,

A man from the house of Israel who slaughters [(consecrated animals)] an ox or a lamb, or a goat, in the camp [outside of the azarah] or who slaughters outside the camp,

And to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting he did not bring it so that it may be brought as an offering to Adonoy, before the Mishkan of Adonoy; it shall be considered for that person as blood, he has spilled blood, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.

and brings it not to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer an offering to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord; blood shall be imputed to that man; he has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

And to the door of the tent of meeting he did not bring it to present it as an offering to the L-rd before the mishkan of the L-rd — blood shall it be reckoned to that man, [as if he had shed a man's blood (in which instance he is liable to death)]; he has spilled blood [(to include as thus liable one who sprinkles the blood outside)], and that man will be cut off from his people.

So that Bnei Yisroel shall bring their sacrifices that they [would] slaughter on the field, and [instead] they shall bring them to Adonoy to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, to the kohein, and slaughter them as peace-offerings to Adonoy.

to the end that the children of Yisra᾽el may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, that they may bring them to the Lord, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and offer them for peace offerings to the Lord.

So that the children of Israel bring their sacrifices, which they are wont to slaughter in the open field, and bring them to the L-rd, to the door of the tent of meeting, to the Cohein, and slaughter them as peace-offerings to the L-rd.

The kohein shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of Adonoy at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as a pleasing fragrance to Adonoy.

And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the Lord at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a sweet savour to the Lord.

And the Cohein shall dash the blood on the altar of the L-rd at the door of the tent of meeting, and he shall smoke the fat, a sweet savor to the L-rd.

They shall no longer slaughter their sacrifices to the demons after which they go astray. This shall be an everlasting statute for them, for their descendants.

And they shall no more offer their sacrifices to the demons, after whom they have gone astray. This shall be a statute for ever to them throughout their generations.

And they shall sacrifice no more their sacrifices to the satyrs [demons], after which they go astray. An everlasting statute shall this be to them throughout their generations.

To them you shall say: each and every person of the House of Israel and from the proselyte who will reside among them, who will bring a burnt-offering or sacrifice,

And thou shalt say to them, Whatever man there be of the house of Yisra᾽el, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, that offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,

And to them shall you say: A man from the house of Israel, and from the stranger that dwells in their midst, who shall offer up a burnt-offering or a sacrifice [(to include for liability one who smokes the limbs outside just as one who slaughters outside)]

and to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting he does not bring it, that it be offered to Adonoy; that person shall be cut off from his people.

and brings it not to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer it to the Lord; that man shall be cut off from among his people.

and not bring it to the door of the tent of meeting to offer it to the L-rd, that man shall be cut off from his people [(His seed shall be cut off and his days shall be cut off)].

Each and every person of the House of Israel and from the proselyte who resides among them who will eat any blood; I shall direct my anger on the soul of him who eats the blood and I will cut it off from among its people.

And whatever man there be of the house of Yisra᾽el, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eats any manner of blood: then I will set my face against that person that eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

And a man from the house of Israel and from the stranger that dwells in their midst that shall eat any blood [(not only that of kodshim)] — I shall direct My regard to that soul which eats the blood, and I shall cut it off from the midst of its people.

For [the] soul of the body is in the blood and I have given it to you [to be placed] on the altar to achieve atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that will achieve atonement for the soul.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.

For the life of [all] flesh is in the blood, wherefore I have given it to you upon the altar to atone for your lives; for it is the blood which atones for the life ["A life (the animal's) for a life"].

Therefore, I have said to Bnei Yisroel: Every soul among you shall not eat blood. The proselyte residing among you shall not eat blood.

Therefore I said to the children of Yisra᾽el, None of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourns among you eat blood.

Therefore, I have said to the children of Israel: All souls of you [(the elders being exhorted over the children)] shall not eat blood; and the stranger that sojourns in your midst shall not eat blood.

Each and every person of the House of Israel and from the proselyte residing among them who will ensnare [the catch] any wild animal or fowl that is permitted to be eaten, he shall spill its blood and cover it with earth.

And whatever man there be of the children of Yisra᾽el, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, who hunts venison of any beast or bird that may be eaten; he shall even pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.

And a man of the children of Israel and of the stranger that dwells in their midst, that shall hunt a hunting [(even if not actually "hunted")] of animal or bird that may be eaten [(unclean animals are excluded from what follows)], he shall pour out its blood and cover it with earth.

For [as to] the life of all flesh, its blood is its life, and I have said to Bnei Yisroel: The blood of any flesh, you should not eat, for, the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats of it, shall be cut off.

For the life of all flesh is its blood, on which its life depends: therefore I said to the children of Yisra᾽el, you shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is its blood: whoever eats it shall be cut off.

For the life of all flesh — its blood is in [place of] its life [i.e., its life is dependent upon its blood]. And I have said to the children of Israel: The blood of all flesh you shall not eat; for the life of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.

Anybody that will eat an improperly slaughtered animal or an animal with a fatal defect among the native-born and the proselyte, shall wash his clothing and bathe in water and is impure until the evening, and [then] becomes purified.

And every person that eats that which died of itself, or that which was torn by beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until evening: then shall he be clean.

And every soul that eats neveilah (carcass) or treifah (what is "torn") [(Scripture speaks here of the neveilah of a clean fowl)], whether citizen or stranger, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and he shall be unclean until the evening, and then he shall be clean.

If he does not wash [his clothes] and does not bathe his flesh, he bears [the burden of] his iniquity.

But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.

And if he does not wash (his clothes) and he does not bathe his flesh [and he eats kodshim or enters the sanctuary], he shall bear his sin [(kareth for not bathing his body; stripes for not washing his clothes)].
