וכן מלת "או" מציין החלוקה המינית. וכשאמר "או בגד או עור" וכן "או עור או פסח" וכדומה – בא לעשות חלוקה כוללת, וכל הדומה לבגד ועור וכיוצא נכלל בשם 'בגד ועור'. (שמיני ס' קיז, וסימן קיח, וסימן קכ, וסימן קכד. מצורע ס' קמג. אמור ס' יז, וסימן יח, וסימן מט, וסימן נ, וסימן נא, וסימן עד, וסימן עה)
And moreover, the word או (or) indicates a division between types. And when it says או בגד או עור (or raiment, or skin)⁵⁰³ and moreover או עור או פסח (a blind man, or a lame)⁵⁰⁴ etc., it comes to make an all-inclusive division, and anything similar to raiment or skin is included with בגד ועור.
