בכל מקום שאין החלוקה תלויה בפעולות האדם רק בדבר שבמציאות – יתפוס דבור המציאות "הוא". "אם בן הוא ואם בת היא".
In any place where there is a division that is not dependent on the actions of a person, but only on a matter that is a reality – it will use the word that indicates that it is a reality, הוא - אם בן הוא ואם בת היא (if it be a son, then you shall kill him; but if it be a daughter, then she shall live)⁵¹¹.
