יש הבדל בין הציוי ובין הדיבור והאמירה. שה'ציוי' היא רק על דבר שלטן ושהמצטוה יש לו איזה הכרח לעשות הציוי (צו סימן אלף), עד שלא יצדק ציוי על דבר שיעשה מעצמו מפני תועלתו (אחרי סימן פה).

There is a difference between הציוי (command) and הדיבור/והאמירה (speak): הציוי is only with matters in which one is being controlled and the command is forcing someone to do something; it is incorrect to use הציוי if one is not doing it because he is being commanded and he is really doing it on his own, for his own benefit.
