ויש הבדל בין כשבא לשון 'עשיה' על הבעל חי – שאז פירושו שיקדישהו או יקראהו בשם, ובין כשבא לשון 'עשיה' על הקרבן כמו "ועשה את החטאת" שפירושו שיעשה כל מעשיו ופרטיו לשם חטאת. (מצורע סימן נז)

And there is a difference between whether the language עשיה (offering) comes on a living creature – that then it means he will sanctify it or present it – and when the language עשיה comes on the sacrifice like ועשה את החטאת(offer the sin-offering)⁶⁵¹, that then it means he will do all of his actions and its details for the sake of the sin-offering.
