יש הבדל בין זריקה, שפיכה, נתינה, הזיה (הנזכרים במתן דם הקרבנות).
There is a difference between זריקה , שפיכה , נתינה , הזיה (that are mentioned with respect to placement of the blood of the sacrifices):
ה'זריקה' וה'שפיכה' הם מתוך הכלי, הרבה בפעם אחד; השפיכה הוא מלמעלה למטה במקומו והזריקה היא אל הצד או מלמטה למעלה
זריקה (sprinkle) and שפיכה (pour) are from a vessel, a lot at one time; שפיכה is from above to below in one place, while זריקה is to the side or from below to above.
וה'הזיה' וה'נתינה' הם ביד ומעט. רק 'הזיה' היא מרחוק שמזה טיפים בידו או על ידי אגודת איזוב, וה'נתינה' היא באצבע בנחת (ויקרא ס' מ, וסימן מב, וסימן רכ, וסימן רעד)
הזיה (spray) and נתינה (giving) are by hand and a little. Only הזיה is at a distance, that from this it sprays by means of his hand or through a bunch of hyssop, while נתינה is with a finger unhurriedly.
