שם "עוללות" הושאל מן הקטנים באנשים אל האשכולות הקטנים בגפן. ושם "אשכולות" הושאל מן הגפן אל גדולי המעלה באנשים.
The noun עוללות (gleanings) is borrowed from infants/toddlers to mean small clusters of grapes, i.e., gleanings. And the noun אשכולות (clusters) is borrowed from wine to mean men of great virtue.
