ויש הבדל בין קנין או מקנה הכתוב סתם, ובין "מקנת כסף" או "קנין כסף". ש"קנין" כולל כל דבר שהוא ברשותו אף לזמן אבל "קנין כסף" מציין מה שהוא שלו בהחלט. (אמור סימן פז)

And there is a difference between קנין or מקנה (acquisition) when written alone and מקנת כסף or קנין כסף (acquisition of money): קנין includes anything that is in his possession, even for a period of time, whileקנין כסף indicates what is his without a doubt.
